Rotary Club of Ormoc - EDC won the Ormoc City Rotunda Christmas Decor Contest

In Rotary, we don’t believe in ONE-MAN Team. We believe in collaboration and that’s Rotary Way.

Once again, Rotary Club of Ormoc’s members and spouses have come together to decorate the Simangan Rotunda to support the CITY-WIDE project on decorating main parts of Ormoc City with lighted Christmas Decors. The aim is to ring that merry feeling among Ormocanons and tourists.

Not only that the Groupings of RCO applies to our feeding program, but also to this Rotunda Christmas Decor.

October Group's Christmas Trees surely bring magic to this Christmas Season.  November group's Manger depicted the Christian's Tradition of the Nativity Scene, December group's Giant Gift Boxes bring magical emotions of excitement, January Group's Candy Canes is a work of art  while February Group's  embellished the Rotonda with their Gold Christmas Balls.

Such a great way to create a strong culture of collaboration.

It's amazing to see each group taking ownership of the decor assigned to them

Awarding Ceremony of Rotonda Christmas decoration last January 22, 2020 at City Mayor's Office. Congratulations to all winners:

1st place - EDC and Rotary Club of Ormoc,
2nd place - Ormoc Festival and Cultural Foundation and LGBT
3rd place - ORCHAM.
