Rotary Club of Ormoc with EDC joined Ormoc City Rotunda Christmas Decor Competition

Last December 14, 2019, The Rotary Club of Ormoc and Energy Development Corporation (EDC) lighted up our Simangan rotunda as our official entry to Ormoc City's "Rotunda Christmas Decor Competition". We were graced by no less than Mayor Richard Gomez, the Department Heads and some members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod.
Thank you, EDC, for being a valuable partner of our city's growth and development; and for extending your hand in collaborating with RC Ormoc to decorate the rotunda. It has been truly a fun experience!
Throughout this Christmas season, our rotunda will remain lighted at night as a symbol of joy, hope and thanksgiving for all the blessings 2019 has brought into our city and our lives. May our simple gift to the community bring you good holiday cheers as you drive by. - From DGN Anna Bumagat

Feeding and Distribution of Nutripack to Malnourished Students of Sumangga Elementary School

Rotary Club of Ormoc, championed by November Group, conducted their last feeding activity for the month of November last November 22, 2019. The club coordinated with the City Health Office thru Dr. Jerry Chiong, city doctor and at the same time an active Rotarian, to help address the malnutrition problem in the school. The club distributed 16 NUTRIPACKS to malnourished students in the said school through the City Health Office.

Teachers and parents who cooked spaghetti for the students, added NUTRIPACK as ingredient.

The attendance  was record high as it was announced that Rotary Club of Ormoc is serving ice cream for the students.
