Rotary Club of Ormoc supported Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) happened last August 8, 2019 at 2PM. Ormoc City is the national ceremonial venue of the activity.
Done as a regular quarterly exercise, the NSED according to the OCD aims to test the earthquake preparedness, enhance the capacity of local response operation, create awareness on earthquake preparedness and initiate the development of muscle memory towards “duck, cover and hold” as well as evacuation procedures.
