The February Group of the Rotary Club of Ormoc championed the ongoing feeding of the club at Sumangga Elementary School with 180 student population last February 7, 2020. Providing good nutrition to students belonging to financially challenged families is one of the club's projects focusing on Maternal and child health / Basic Education and Literacy areas of focus.
It is observed that during FRIDAY, a lot of students don't go to school. Thus, this FRIDAY Feeding program aims to increase attendance among children during FRIDAYs.
Special thanks to the DGN Anna Bumagat and the rest of the February group. PP Wesley of October and District Officer Joel Ngo of November Group, joined this event with their President Maricel R. Ngo.
